NON-FOYER SHREDDED WHEAT ADVERTISING POSTCARDS
The cards below are Shredded Wheat cards, but have few illustration [except occasionally with B&W or single color pictures for advertising. They are not “foyer” cards, but served other purposes.
[These listings are largely from research; not all are in my collection I am still actively looking for many of these cards. If you have any either unlisted or for sale, please contact me at jwalton971@aol.com.]
*Serial and Series numbers are designations used by The Shredded Wheat Company in Worcester, MA, then by the Natural Food Company and the Shredded Wheat Company in Niagara Falls, NY, and were used on many different company promotional materials. Cookbooks, blotters, advertising pamphlets, trolley ads – many had a designated Series number, as did many of the post cards listed here. These are indicated in the headings, and are useful for identifying items.

I have a card with a 2¢ Jefferson post card with a grocer’s message which includes Shreddies, used 1946
I also have a Canadian Elizabethan 2¢ post card from Nabisco Foods Ltd. Toronto, apologizing for a scissors set being unavailable, and promising to send ASAP. Used 1958.
There are a number of post cards, real photo and printed, not issued by Shredded Wheat, but picturing the factory. There are, in addition, a few humorous post cards, including a Tuck card, with Shredded Wheat as the key line.
